Ouch. If last night’s game against South Korea is any guide to how Japan will perform at the World Cup, there’s no need for the Blue Samurai to write home from South Africa – they’ll be back before the postcards. The South Koreans owned the Japanese during much of their final pre-World Cup game on home turf at a rain-soaked but packed Saitama Stadium, once again defeating their arch-rivals 2-0 in a “friendly” warm-up match ahead of the World Cup.
